Inclement Weather Procedure
In the event of snow of other inclement weather on a Saturday evening or Sunday morning, Pastor Dale will consult with the Council President, and decide whether to cancel church that day. The church answering machine will be updated by 8am on Sunday morning. So any time after 8am, you can call the church (570-425-3242) to find out if we are open or not. But please - use your own judgment - even if the church is open, if you feel the roads are too dangerous to travel, stay home. We'll miss you, but at least we'll know that you are safe.

David's UCC has gone Green! David’s Green Justice team recently completed Penn Central Conference’s Green Church checklist and David’s is officially a Level One UCC Green Church! Even better we are only 6 points away from being a Level Two! How did we get there? For one, check out the new LED energy efficient lights on the outside of the church. If you are interested in joining David’s “Green Justice Team” let Pastor DiAnn or Mary Wetzel know. If you would like more information on how you can go green at home just ask Pastor DiAnn!
Local Clothing Bank
The Koinonia Ministerium has established a clothing bank for area residents and their families. This clothing bank distribute gently used or new clothing to needy families.
We now have Sunday School for all ages every Sunday at 9:30 am
